The Ohana Way: Love, laughter, and learning.

Learning and Child Care
They say it takes a village, but we prefer to call it an Ohana. We’ve built a sanctuary where children have the freedom to try, the safety to fail, and the love to keep going. When you join us, you aren't just finding childcare—you’re finding a place where your child is loved deeply, and your family truly belongs.
Who We Are
Meet the founder: Anica Westfall
I have always believed that every mind is a unique masterpiece waiting to be celebrated. My journey into the heart of education began over 16 years ago as a Girl Scout Troop Leader. Over nearly two decades, I’ve had the privilege of guiding girls from their first steps all the way through their transition into adulthood—helping them find the courage to be the best versions of themselves.
My passion for inclusive education deepened during my years working in Special Education (SPED). Whether I was supporting non-verbal students through visual aids and basic ASL or helping high-functioning students navigate the world with confidence, I learned one vital truth: every child can thrive when they are given a sanctuary that speaks their language.
As a mother of two, I live this mission every day; family and service are the passions that drive everything I do. My oldest daughter, a college honors graduate in Deaf Studies and a Gold Award Girl Scout, inspired my deep commitment to inclusive communication. My youngest is currently navigating her middle school years through homeschooling while working toward her Silver Award, reminding me daily of the beauty in a personalized education. These personal experiences have shaped Ohana Learning Center into what it is today: a place where 'family' isn't just a word, but a promise of specialized attention, the freedom to try, and a lifelong circle of support
Mission:
Ohana Learning Center is dedicated to advanced education for individuals of all ages, especially children with learning disabilities. Our center emphasizes smaller classrooms for better attention and employs an interactive learning approach.
At Ohana Learning Center, our mission is to ensure that every child who walks through our doors is already home. We are dedicated to providing advanced, interactive education through a soulful, 'hands-on' approach that celebrates the magic of doing. By prioritizing small class sizes and personalized attention, we create a sanctuary where children—especially those with learning disabilities—have the freedom to explore, the permission to make mistakes, and the unwavering support of a family. We aren’t just a learning center; we are a lifelong circle of support where every learner is cherished, and no one is left behind.
